KitchenAid mixer, which will be great to have for baking. We got tons of baking and cooking things, which is fitting for Jason and me. It was also the first time my parents met several people in Jason’s family and I think everyone really enjoyed spending time together.
Last week was very hot and it doesn’t seem like the temperatures are going to let up at all. I’ve always hated summer, I don’t deal with heat well at all. Yet I’m getting married outside in the heat… I had my reasons. In any case, it kind of threw a dagger into my running plans but I still managed to get in three runs and mostly keep up with my half marathon training schedule–although all of my runs took place after eight o’clock at night.
The best news, however, is that I heard back about that job! And I have an in person interview coming up, so please keep your fingers crossed for me!

Oh my gosh, I’m so fricking jealous of your Kitchenaid mixer. I swear, one of the main reasons I want to get married is so I can put that mixer on my registry. Did you get that cute tangerine color?
