My life right now is a little like Christmas, and Jason and I are Santa’s elves. The wedding is a month away… August 11, and we are starting to feel it. In a way it’s a good thing we are unemployed because we can spend the majority of our time making stuff for our wedding and getting the details sorted out. Here is a taste of a few things we are working on.
Programs. These are tedious. It took forever to get them to print right, and now I have to cut them out, glue a stick on one side, let it dry, then glue the back onto the stick. I’ve only made 15 so far and it took a long time, although watching New Girl helps the time pass.
Instead of boutonniers I’m making pins out of wooden shapes for Jason, the groomsmen, and other important helpers. These were a pretty fun project I did one night last week and I think they’re going to look really cute the day of the wedding.
Jason’s big project has been fabric bunting, which is very time-consuming. He cut out all of these pennants last week and now he is stapling them onto some twine so we can hang them across the barn. He has a pattern he’s sticking to (perfectionist) which makes it take a little bit longer.
And that’s just a few things we’re working on! Last week I spent a day making table numbers and I have seating cards to make sometime this week.

What’s bunting? haha
I wish I lived closer! I would totally craft with you!
Fun! I LOVE those programs. Adorable.
Here I was wondering where you’ve been, and seems I’ve still been following your old address on my reader. How are you?? All set for the wedding?
Good luck and enjoy the process, without fretting out!
I love it! This is exactly how I want to do my wedding. Handmade by the both of us!
