On Friday Jason and I went camping at Acorn Valley in the Saylorville Lake Reservoir. I always have grand ideas about camping, and I actually do really love it, but this weekend was not very good for camping. We planned on staying Friday and Saturday, but after looking at the radar it was clear we’d be sitting in the rain all day Saturday. Sure enough, as soon as we packed up the tent it started pouring.
We did go on a little hike Saturday morning. It was kind of… off roading to get to the lake. But it was totally worth it for the view and gorgeous scenery.
